"Devil's Arithmetic"

Response Letter A
In the "Devil's Arithmetic" Hannah changed and became more mature. This is shown by Hannah becoming more respectful of her family through the horrible experiences that she experienced. In the beginning of the movie Hannah wanted to get a tattoo but when she got the numbers tattooed in her arm she realized that she should be grateful to not have a tattoo. Hannah didn't want to hear the stories of the Holocaust in the begging of the movie but after her experiences was more than grateful to listen to the stories of her family. Hannah understood her religion more after her experiences of the Holocaust. Hannah was changed throughout the movie, she became more mature.
